This 2,700 S.F. single family residence was subject to various restrictive covenants intended to maintain respect for the relationships and tradition of existing structures and their organization on this historic family compound in a large meadow and woods shoreline site.
The massing, style, and details of the house make gestures to and maintain continuity
with historic precedents.

However, per the Owner's desired approach, the house was designed with an open plan and other contemporary twists to certain features on the exterior and interior.
