The solid and void composition of the massing is an outward expression of the dynamic interior spatial volumes which intersect and flow into each other to satisfy in a unique manner the programmatic desire for openness, light, and optimal views.
There is an effort to incorporate the exterior into the living spaces and blur the boundaries between the two.
Large glass doors give views to distant mountains with dramatic sunsets, and open onto expansive decks, suspended on the steep hillside and looking into the forest canopy.
There are also open views and immediate access from the interior to the uphill grade patio in a wooded clearing and
to the adjacent exposed ledge bluff and boulders.
